- 1Confirm you're eligible: U.S. citizen, 18 by Election Day, NY resident 30+ days, not incarcerated for a felony.
- 2Register online at elections.ny.gov, by mail, or in person — deadline is 10 days before the election.
- 3Look up your polling place at elections.ny.gov/pollingplace.
- 4Show up! Bring ID if it's your first time voting after registering by mail.
